Terms of reference archaeological research

In the Terms of Reference (ToR), the purpose, research question and method of implementation of an archaeological field investigation and expert analysis are phrased. The ToR may be regarded as the basic document for an archaeological investigation. It needs to be drafted according to a format which is part of the Quality Norm Dutch Archaeology. I have extensive experience with the drafting of ToR’s, including those for research of multiperiod sites and areas where archaeological remains are situated on diverse levels in the soil, which occurs often in our Dutch river delta.
